Following are some useful steps to how to use social media for marketing that guarantee to get word out of it :
Start doing marketing by setting up few pages to some social networking site like Facebook, Twitter, Squidoo, Weebly, Tumblr and HubPages etc. These drive extra traffic and link to your site.

Great work! I definitely like how you used visuals to communicating your ideas. The headstone piece indicating companies not embracing social media is funny and interesting. Not sure I agree though. Your position is embrace social media or die. Apple does very little (on purpose anyways) in the way of this and they are innovators across the board (the reasons why is another conversation). So social media is an extremely valuable tool (in particular scenarios) but putting it on a pedestal and saying "hail to the chief" is a bit presumptive as it is still a new "phenomena" and time still has to test it to see how it can be utilized most effectively - its still in its experimental stage. Great work nonetheless though! cheers!
